Winter Roads

November 15, 2025

Snow has begun to gather in the cart ruts. That’s when you learn who’s worth walking with. Folks still come in from the road, faces stung by wind, hands out to the fire. They bring stories, they bring trouble, and sometimes they bring a promise they can’t keep.

If you’ve a party of your own, hold them close. Share your rations and your rumours. Some journeys are shorter when the song carries half the weight.

And if your path leads into iron places where the air tastes of sparks, well, finish your drink and check your boots. Warmth is a blessing, but it’s not the end of the road.
