A cluttered forge workbench with metal miniatures and notes

Progress, Practicalities, and the Next Steps

There's a particular sound a forge makes when the work is honest but unfinished. That’s where GNAW is this week: tools laid out, heat steady, no sparks wasted.

This isn't a pause. It's preparation.

Shoring Up the Foundations

Over the past week I've been updating the GNAW website, Patreon, and Ko-fi. Not just cosmetic changes, but tightening language, clarifying offerings, and making it clearer why GNAW exists and where it's going.

All of this work is aimed at one clear goal: increasing sustainable funds so we can properly hire artists for our campaign modules. These worlds deserve to be illustrated, mapped, and shaped by real hands.

Metal on the Bench

Alongside the digital work, progress continues on metal miniatures. Refinement, testing, and preparation for an updated catalogue are all underway. Metal is slower and less forgiving, but it lasts, and that matters.

What Comes Next

Next steps are practical and deliberate: finalising platform updates, continuing work on the metal range, and laying the groundwork to begin artist outreach for upcoming modules.

No grand reveals this week. Just steady hands, clear direction, and work that will hold.
