February Holding Pattern
February 24, 2026
A Short, Honest Summary (Since 9th Feb)
I haven't used the usual cadence since the 9th of February, and that's not because the plan was abandoned. It's because real life turned into a long, grinding encounter: moving house, carrying boxes, chasing lost cables, and trying to keep momentum from falling out of the cart.
This has been one of those stretches where you're not building new towers you're just keeping the hearth from going out.
Keeping the Lights On
Through the move, the priority has been simple: keep the games running. Play-by-post has continued, even when everything else was in flux. Not perfect, not fast, but alive—and that continuity matters more than a flashy burst of output.
Small Tweaks, No Big Swings
There have been minor writing tweaks along the way, the kind of quiet maintenance work you can do between trips to the van. No major releases. No big pushes. Just careful, minimal effort where it would hold.
Why March Is the Real Restart
The truth is: it's been tough. But it's been done. The move is landing, the dust is settling, and March is when the wheels properly go back on when we can return to structured creation, clearer publishing, and forward progress that doesn't feel like dragging a wagon uphill.
For now, consider this the “we survived the travel montage” entry.
