The recruitment call for my play-by-post campaigns has gone better than a bard’s bar tab after payday. New heroes have arrived, sheets inked and dice ready, filling nearly every open seat at the table (digital though it may be). The campfire’s circle feels warm and bright, and just chaotic enough to promise great stories ahead.
Between sorting character backstories and writing encounters, I’ve barely had time to eat anything not conjured. But theres something special about seeing a party form, watching strangers become allies, and knowing that soon they’ll be knee deep in trouble of my own design.
